at Pennsic? If you cleaned your hands with the antibacterial in the
PortiCastles at Pennsic, THAT is what totally trashed your henna!
Even a spot of that stuff will totally blow off your henna!

Contrariwise .. the WATER at Pennsic, being full of lime and iron,
IMPROVED the color of henna stains!

Baby-wipes also bomb henna.

Stress and travel fatigue bomb henna.

Menstrual periods bomb henna.

Any of the above seem to be the case?
