I don't know how much you know about chromatography - I only
remembered enough to suggest it to Jeremy, who agreed and is checking
out what kind of solution and papers we'd need. Apparently there's a
bit of a DIY test, just putting a dot on white paper with a drop of
water(maybe) and leaving it to dry for a few days, but I don't know
how reliable it is.
If you want to try this yourself, go ahead. It'd be great to know if
the samples really *do* vary with distinctive patterns before you go
crazy in a lab :)
