Re: Terped paste successPosted by Shanon Lavender on September 10, 2001 at 21:03:32: In reply to: Terped paste success ... the spaghetti sauce paradigm, and a question for Zimra and Shanon posted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on September 9, 2001 at 15:13:44: I got lucky at the local herb store (Marlene's Market and Deli forthose of you in the Seattle/Tacoma area) and bought tea tree oil with the percent of terpineols on the side. The brand is Tea Tree Therapy and the label advises 36% terpinol. I can get milk chocolate on the vast white acreage of my thighs instead of the usual pumpkin. I also achieve darker color on arms. My fingers go espresso. I mix in a little neroli, cajeput or clovebud for scent but was unable to find percents of terpineols on them so my mainstay has been the tea tree. I just opened the box of oils to find the exact percent and the smell is heavenly. To me it seems as if the best improvement in color is not the places like palms and soles that will stain very well with quality henna and good aftercare, rather in the places were you could only previously get wimpy pumpkiny stains at best. Think upper arms and lower backs. For impatient festival goers it is an excellent mix. They almost never want hands and feet. They don't take very good care of it. They want to know how soon they can remove it. It is also good for slightly less impatient me. I like the fact that the paste lasts quite well when kept in the fridge for a few weeks. Best Wishes Shanon
