Rangoli fixin'sPosted by Catherine Cartwright Jones on September 19, 2001 at 01:09:20: In reply to: I'm Back!! a question about Rangoli, and other thoughts posted by Darlahood on September 19, 2001 at 00:04:48: I got nice cheap white rice flour at a grocery store that had a decentethnic section .... it was right under the turmeric and over the dhal. Other rice flour is in health food stores next to the blue corn meal and wheat bran. The health food store rice flour costs far more.... If you can't find rice flour, Wondra granulated flour for gravy works a treat. You need flours that are granular and don't clump. Corn meal is ok. The rice flour is traditional and is brilliant white.
