Middle Eastern Cinderella

Hej,I was browsing throught the children's books on amazon.com for my
middle eastern children's book project and came across a Cinderella
story with which I was not familiar. The synopsis mentions henna. I
will try to get a copy of the book - it sounds interesting.
It makes me wonder if this is a retelling of a Cinderella variant, or
a Cinderella story moved to the middle east (like The Penguin
Cinderella is the Cinderella story told with Penguins; ditto The
Emperor Penguin's New Clothes).
