Heyla!I actually found this book at a Third Grade teacher's conference I
attended this summer, and of course I had to buy it! The story is very
charming, and the illustrations are beautiful. The big 2 page picture
in the middle of the book is of the bridal henna party that the main
character attends in the hopes of being scoped out as a bride by one of
the village Moms. The henna designs in the picture leave a little to be
desired, but it is a way cool book anyway!
