I was looking up Camphor (link below) .....are you sure it's really
safe to use? It seems to be a skin irritant, and is quite
penetrating, which would account for your color improvement. Another
link indicated that it is a strong oxidant which would account for the
darkening. But, I read the link below and would be a little uneasy
about using it in large areas over a wide range of people....
There might be safer ways to darken your henna....
And, I definitely wouldn't henna frogs with camphored henna....
