There are some spiff sifters you can make with pantyhose (2
layers, or use the control top) .... or you can eamil Jed Hansen to
purchase his "sift-o-matic" which does a heck of a job. His email is

My most recent henna infatuation is getting lines as fine as sewing
thread, and a pattern that wraps 360 all the way around the hand in
assymetrical twiddlying .... and the sift-o-matic does the job with no
henna fluff up the nose. That and carrot bags, and a little honey
(thanks, Natasha!) to make the henna hold together when pulling out a
5 inch long thread-fine line. (I'll have pix back tomorrow if you're
