I think you need to really help people understand that the NS WILL
come off....and patience is important. And, that the little extra
nuisance insures splendid results! If I just rinse my hands in the
morning, and that gets 75% of the NS off. If the local city water is
bleachy, have people soak their hands in distilled or spring water
(most people have something like that in the fridge anymore) and WARM
water seems to jumpstart the henna darkening. (So, warm it to comfy
bath temp). I also (in a Mother tone of voice) explain that one
morning's nuisance of oiling New Skin will result in 3 weeks of
immaculate minute flawless dark pattern....and the tradeoff is REALLY
worth it! You've seen the patterns I do. I slept in them all. If
you're going for the Navneet patterns....NS will insure that all that
twiddly work will stay put!

I tell people that getting NS off is like getting bubble gum out of
hair. Rub in oil, and out it comes. For some reason, people really
understand bubble gum and hair....though you are tempted to grab
scissors and start chopping, if you're just patient with the oil, off
it goes!

Remember how ironing henna darkens hennaed cloth dramatically? A long
time ago, I would be ironing the seamstress work every morning, and I
thought that when I put my night-before hennaed hand on the hot cloth,
the henna darkened suddenly. Well...not I know that was not my
imagination.. Hot is GOOD! Here's a hint...hold your hands over the
toaster in the morning until the bagel pops up!
