Henna, by any other name......

I recently came across some different names,
from different cultures, for henna. I know there must be tonnes, but
here's a few.. I wonder just how many there is????

SANSKRIT= mendika, ragangi, raktgarbha.
PERSIAN = hina.
KASHMIRI= mohuz.
PUNJABI = mehndi.
ORIYA = benjati.
ARABIC = henna, alkhanna.
KANNAD = mayilanci, gorante.
HINDI = mehndi.

It would be great to have a "complete" list of all known names for
henna..... can you help Catherine?
