When push came to shove, and Jeremy did have to look for another
server .... there were several posts outlining exactly why he made his
choices. Of course he considered free sites. They were all
unsuitable for very valid reasons. The only way to get quality, space,
quick download and no junk was to spend money on a good server site.
Jeremy gets absolutely no money from advertising or selling here. So,
here is why there is NO FREE LUNCH as far as a henna page server site
is concerned:

1) there is no free server that doesn't load you down with @#$&*(#$%
advertising, long download times and all sorts of of things that would
really spoil the accessability and quality of the forum.

2) there is no free server that would actually permit such a huge
site. This site is NOT just the forum, it's all the other clicks off
the home page, all the archives, and everything. Jeremy considers it
very important to offer access to ALL the information that has gone on
for the several years now that the forum has been on, to see the
development of the discussion and gradual unfolding of information.

3)I've seen the new henna page, and it's worth the wait.

I LIKE quality, and I'm willing to support it. Same as PBS and NPR.
