Greetings to you Naturegirl! and all on The Henna Page. My name is Theadora and I have been following this forum for a few years, allthough as silly as it may sound I am just now figureing out this computer stuff. I hope this message gets through in response to Naturegirls idea of the stamp. I have been seriously pondering the stamp as a simplification, time saver especially for mandalas. Tempates with diferent #s of points mapped out. I work The Portland Saturday Market-this will be my third year -and it would be ever so handy. I currently do use a henna colored marker that comes off but still a stamp would seem to me a really great tool to have in ones bag of tricks. To have one made here costs about $25 . Theres still the question about ink, saftey and use with henna etc..Maybe we could talk further if you wish and order some together if we like as it may be cheeper to order more than one each of a design. Also, I have been getting a web page together (thanks mostly to my non technically retarded husband),Which should be up in a week I hope. Then I will out myself to all you who have inspired and taught me! My first lessons were "Zimra Says"! If I have made any boo boos regarding this message please let me know

: I'm sorry I guess I wasnt clear about what I meant, I didnt meant
stamps for
: putting the actual design on the skin with henna paste itself, but
more
: of a simple stamping of lines or basic shapes onto the skin with
ordinary
: ink to use for giving the artist a framwork to work on. True it
wouldnt
: neccesarily work for every situation, but then nothing works for
EVERY
: henna situation. But for palms or backs of hands when you want to
do
: a radial design, and you have trouble getting a circle to look
right or
: have trouble getting points to line up around the design, it might
be a
: useful tool. Thats all I was trying to suggest.
