Honey in Henna Paste / Yeast?

I just put honey in my henna paste. I'm not even done with my hand and it has already cracked. (In a post below someone wrote it wouldn't.)I wonder why it has cracked.
I also don't like the consistency of it. It sounds weird but the paste seems more watery and less sticky going on than without the honey. Its also a little harder to draw with and won't stay put while drawing. The paste seems a bit separated. It wasn't before I added the honey. But on a good note when it cracks it isn't flaking off my hand. It did before.
Thought I'd pass it on.

btw. Does yeast do anything for the stain or does it just make the henna fluffy?
