I wish you luck! We have our own problems here in our own city
centre now, so I'm left wondering how best to tackle the issue here
without getting damaged.

What Nick said about the different queue lengths is so obvious here.
The lady doing black has a huge crowd of summer school students round
her; the guy up the road doing natural has just one or two clients at
any one time.

Having said that, Alex and I had a queue going out the door at a
college event we did last w/e, so there is interest in natural henna
here, which is a positive sign.

Montreal

Nope. There were plenty in Toronto (mostly along Queen St West), but
I saw only one stand in Montreal, and they were exclusively black
henna.
