The artists that put black henna on hundreds and hundreds of people
claimed they had no idea they were causing blisters, scarring and
poisoning. They said the manufacturer just had "black henna" on the
package, and were cluless about the contents. The city authorities
said "not good enough" and shut them down, and made them liable for
the suffering they caused.
