I have a question on patterns

Are there any differences between designs from India and designs for Pakistanie people? A lady from pakistan that works with me said that their Christmas-like celebration is tomorrow and the women henna their hands today. What kind of patterns are they used to? This is my first invite to a henna party that has all pakistanie ladies there, so I was just wondering if there is anything else that I need to know about their differences in henna patterns.
