Henna & Wax

I'm looking for someone who has tried dripping/painting wax designs
on skin before applying henna paste over the design to stain the
negative space of the wax design.

Or.... has used paper strips or tape in a similar fashion.

What were the results?
Any negative reaction of the skin from the wax?
What kind of wax or paper and how did you apply it?
