ON the thigh-by-thigh, the camphored leg lasted one day longer than the non camphored leg, but stayed darker to the last trace. (less than 10% difference). On my hand, with both camphor and plain henna, they all disapperead the same day. On my arm, ditto, disappeared same day. On other body parts, done different days, I noticed something odd. It looked like exfoliation was speeding up with the waning of the moon, and hennaes done at different times were dissappearing on the same day. One hand henna that had both camphor and plain henna on it lasted 9 cays (short) but vanished the same day that several other hennaes did, done up to 3 weeks previous. Cats and dogs do not shed at entirely constant rates, but have a sort of cyclic "fur blow-off" Old wives tales say that hair cut according to lunar cycles grows in faster or slower.... Could our bodies slough off henna at uneven rates due to either menstrual cycles or lunar cycles (which in many ladies coincide?) thus skewing the amount of time the henna lasts? It's a few days past new moon, and though I had every last bit hennaed for several weeks, always searching for one clear spot to test on, I suddenly have plenty fresh skin again. Did I "blow coat" (the phrase used in dog and cat shows for a sudden "fluff dump")? Speaking of watching the sky, who else say that beautiful string of 5 multi-colored meteors last night about 7 EST? WOW!!!!!!
